I’ve always been a lover of wildlife and Owls are my favourite. There are 5 species of Owls in the UK, all of which are on the concerned list.

Our local park was known for having Barn Owls living in the wooded area, and although I can frequently see Jays, Woodpeckers and Wood Pigeons Galore I can’t say I’ve seen an Owl in the last 10 years.

That’s where the incredible work of the RSPB comes in, of course, many great conservation charities are working hard to protect our bird species but the RSPB works closely alongside our legal system to help enact the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act to keep our wildlife safe.
